Optimizing TTA codec performance

Tamir Barak and Noam Koenigstein from Technion (http://softlab.technion.ac.il/) (Israel Institute of Technology, sponsored by Intel (http://www.intel.com)) have finished the optimization of True Audio (TTA) codec. As a final result a speed up of 45% on a Dual Processor platform and 38.5% on a Hyper-Threaded platform is achieved.
